Antropov I., Omeman J. Dynamics of phase transformations in laser surface treatment of steels.

The application of the classical heat equation for calculating the temperature distribution in the volume in the laser surface treatment is grounded. There are shown the differences of phase transformations during rapid heating of the surface layer of metals, the results of calculation of temperature distribution in the case of processing a pulsed laser beam.
