The second part o f this activity concerns your particular career choices. Identify three careers that appeal to you from your career list.

Research these careers using the following link http://careerplanning.

about.com/od/occupations/a/career_briefs.htm Answering the following 10 questions w i l l help you gather basic information about each career.

1. What skills and aptitudes should I have?

2. What education and training would I need?

3. What would my work environment or surroundings be like?

4. What hours would I spend on the job?

5. What kinds o f work would I do?

6. What responsibilities would I have?

7. Would I be able to move ahead?

8. What w i l l this career be like when I ' m ready to work?

What is the name o f the job?

What does a person do i n this job?

What type o f education is necessary to prepare for this career?

What are the pay and other benefits o f this job?

http://www.careerchoic.com/home.php?p=planning http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp http://www.google.ru Conclusion There are four primary benefits that I hope you w i l l obtain from this Webquest.

One is that you w i l l gain a more thorough understanding o f your own interests.

A second benefit is that I hope you w i l l be able link your interests to different careers.

Next, I hope that you w i l l be able to carry out your own research using the Internet to explore careers.

A n d the last is that you w i l l be able to make a choice about the career that you are interested i n.
